Increase the grit size step by step. If you skip a step, the previous scratches won’t be removed and will remain until the very end. Proceed one step at a time: coarse → medium → fine → polish.
Rough sanding → Medium sanding → Finishing sanding → Polishing—increase the grit size one step at a time.
If you skip a grit size, scratches from the previous step will remain. Rinse with water and sand.
