Powder decoration is a technique that uses glass powder as a decorative material. The particles are much finer than those in frit, allowing for the creation of intricate patterns by applying the powder like paint or using stencils to cut out shapes. After firing, it sets as a translucent colored layer, enabling effects similar to hand-painted designs.
