A clean layout using an overlapping layout

Overlapping works well for a clean, crisp arrangement. Arrange the glass pieces in the first layer, then place the cover glass on top. This leaves a clean, defined edge.
If you want to create sharp edges between the glass pieces, an overlapping layout is best. Arrange the pieces on the first layer without any gaps, then place the cover glass on top. This will result in a flat, beautiful panel.
Arrange the glass pieces on top of the base glass without any gaps, and then place the cover glass on top. This is called an overlap layout.
The firing temperature is full (approximately 780°C). Since the piece is wrapped in a cover, the internal contours are beautifully preserved, and the surface has a flat, glossy finish.
